Johnstone Festival 2010 Saturday 29th May - Shanks Park Now in its 7th Year, Johnstone Festival is bigger and better than ever with events and fun for all the family. The parade starts at Mary Street at 12 noon and makes its way through the town centre up to the park for 12.30 A packed programme of entertainment will be on stage from 12.30 - come and see your favourite acts There is also the Funfair, Birds of Prey, over 30 stalls, Refreshment tent, Dog Show and many more things for a great family day out. Urgently required - local people to become involved in Johnstone Festival Committee. No special skills required, only a committment to attend one or two short meetings per month and contribute their own ideas to continue the success of the Festival.
